  • The attack on men continues...

There is an attack on men in America these days that is pushing to make men obsolete, to make men scapegoats, to make men the butt of every joke. I have news for women, there are very few women out there that are successful that did not become that way on the back of a man. The man could be the woman's dad, ex husband or husband, or boyfriend. There are very few self made women out that did it all on their own without marrying and getting big money, houses etc in a divorce or from the handout from daddy. I personally do not know one.

So now we have this attack on men By Olivia Wilde - Friends, haters, it is Twitter poll time. What do you think most holds back justice and equality for women? All thoughts welcome!

She has a man she got her dosh from!!! Her daddy!!

Her father, Andrew Cockburn, a journalist, was born in London to British parents and raised in Ireland; her uncles, Alexander Cockburn and Patrick Cockburn, also worked as journalists. Wilde's older sister, Chloe Cockburn, is a civil rights attorney in New York; her aunt, Sarah Caudwell, was a writer, and her paternal grandfather, Claud Cockburn, was a novelist and journalist.

Wilde's father's upper-class British ancestors lived in several places at the height of British Empire

So what kind of responses did she get from the usual femi-nazi suspects?

men are what holds back equality.

      white straight old men.

old white guys who have been in charge forever.

old white men in government who think they know everything about all subjects, including modern women's issues—

      In a word? Men.

Rich old white men being terrified of change

probably men fear that if women achieve equality they'll start to actually pull ahead of men!

systemic misogyny and sexism, refusal by "conservatives" to accept change

Men's lust for power, viewing women as sexual objects, and their false intellectual superiority. Honestly, it's pure misogyny.

      Misogyny. Next question.

      old white men and religion

the imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy holds back justice and equality for women and men alike

      Patriarchy beliefs of republicans

Religion doesn't help - women are 2nd class citizens in religious beliefs. Men run the country, major corporations.

Religion...which leaks into politics. And in both of those the laws are written by men.

Men. Indoctrination. Religion. Politics. Men. Misogyny. Hatred. The Media. MEN.
